Celia Holman Lee receiving care following 'major health setback'

Former Limerick fashion model Celia Holman Lee has experienced what her family has described as a “major health setback”.

They said on instagram that the 75 year-old is currently receiving medical care.

“As a result, Celia will be unavailable for public engagements for a period of time. Her family asks that their privacy be respected during this difficult period so that they can focus on her care and recovery,” the family added.

They also said they are “deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers and good wishes” they have received.

“Please know that every message is appreciated and gives them strength. Given the volume of messages, they may not be able to respond individually, and ask for your understanding if they are unable to do so,” the family said.

The former fashion model is the founder of the Celia Holman Lee Model Agency and recently published her memoir, Glamour & Grit.
