McEneaney rescues Geraldines
This wasn’t the only time McEneaney came to his side’s rescue. Having being called from the bench, the son of team manager, former Monaghan star Eamon, pointed a 45 to level the match seconds from the end of regulation time.
By then Naomh Olaf were down to 14, Conor Haskins having been shown a straight red with his side showing one point in front. Back to full strength for extra-time, the Dublin champions eased into a two-point lead, but determined Geraldines fought to the finish and were rewarded with a draw.
