Roslea dig out win

Roslea (Fermanagh) 1-12 Ballinagh (Cavan) 0-11

Seamus Quigley hit 1-7 against the Cavan champions.

Quigley converted a penalty in injury-time to make sure of victory, after Ballinagh mounted a strong comeback.

Roslea led 0-9 to 0-4 at half-time, with eight points coming from Quigley brothers Seamus and Sean. Two Sean Quigley points stretched that lead to seven (0-11 to 0-4) five minutes into the second half.

Niall McDermott and Kevin Smyth were among the Ballinagh scorers as the visitors scored seven out of the next eight points. Marty Beagan was sent off for Roslea, but at the death Quigley was felled, earning a penalty. He coolly secured Roslea‘s progress.
