O’Mahony anxious for new Treaty boss to be named

Limerick defender Gavin O’Mahony is hoping a new manager is appointed as soon as possible so that the players start their preparations in earnest to win an All-Ireland title next year.

It’s exactly eight weeks since John Allen stepped down and the rumour mill has been rife in the county about his successor.

The latest speculation surrounds TJ Ryan and Donal O’Grady in something of a role reversal with former selector Ryan taking over as manager and O’Grady, who he worked under, concentrating on coaching.
