Crusheen standing behind cool and calm starlet Dillon

Brian Slevin recalls a picture he stumbled upon in one of the national newspapers on the Monday morning after Clare’s semi-final win over neighbours Limerick.

The image showed an exhausted Cian Dillon standing alone in the centre of Croke Park, throwing a wink at someone.

“He is just such a cool and collected individual,” smiles the Crusheen chairman.
