Wicklow retain county bosses

Wicklow’s football manager Harry Murphy and hurling boss Casey O’Brien have been re-appointed for 2014.

2014 will be Murphy’s third season in charge while O’Brien has been with the hurlers for five years.

In his first year in charge Murphy guided the side to the NFL Division Four title with victory and promotion to the third tier. However the Garden County endured a miserable league this spring failing to win a game and returned to the basement division.

Meanwhile Casey will be targeting a return to Division Two of the league in 2014 along with a successful run in the Christy Ring Cup having come up short in finals against Kerry and London.
