Rebels allay injury fears

Cork manager Conor Counihan expects to have a full squad for the Munster SFC semi-final clash with Clare at Cusack Park in Ennis on June 16.

Rebels allay injury fears

Before throw-in against Limerick on Saturday, Cork made two changes to the side selected for the game as Eoin Cadogan and Aidan Walsh were replaced by James Loughrey and Alan O’Connor respectively. Cadogan has been struggling with an ankle injury since March and is progressing well while Walsh’s leg complaint surfaced last week, but Counihan does not expect either player — or Jamie O’Sullivan, who limped off in a Bishopstown’s county SFC loss to Ilen Rovers — to be out for much longer.

“Aidan got a knock on Thursday night,” he said.
