Gavin insists Dublin minds on job

Dublin manager Jim Gavin insists the Paddy McBrearty bite saga hasn’t affected his side’s Allianz Football League final preparations.

The Dublin player hit with a proposed three-match ban for biting Donegal forward McBrearty during their April 7 drawn game came before the GAA’s Central Hearings Committee last night. He contested the proposed sanction and is expected to learn his fate today.

Manager Gavin finally broke his silence on the situation ahead of last night’s meeting, insisting the drawn out affair hasn’t impacted on the team.
