Time also to reflect on a league which — Davy believes — could be structured so much better.

“You would think with today’s performance we’d need to up it again against Waterford,” he admitted. “We’ve played them three times competitively since I took over, they’ve beaten us twice, we’ve beaten them once. There’s very little between us. I know and everyone knows it’s going to be a humdinger of a game.”
