O’Rourke discovers new depth in squad

Not only have the brace of points bolstered the Wee County’s promotion push but O’Rourke discovered that he has rich selection options at his disposal ahead of what he terms a “massive test” against Derry next weekend.
Forced to start without talisman Paddy Keenan, defensive strongman John O’Brien and the emerging Gary O’Hare, O’Rourke learned that not only were their replacements — Padraig Rath, Conor McGuinness and Ronan Carroll — well-equipped for the challenge but that subs Derek Maguire, Jim McEnaney and Ciarán Byrne have thrust themselves into the frame for regular recognition.
