Duffy: Voting against FRC proposals is illogical

A vote against any of the key Football Review Committee (FRC) proposals is an illogical step, says GAA director general Páraic Duffy.

In a significant endorsement of the group’s recommendations, which form motions at next month’s Congress, the Association’s most powerful official is convinced Gaelic football will improve as a game should they come into rule.

Although there is fear the black card may not receive the required two-thirds majority backing in Derry, Duffy’s support of the FRC’s work in the main will carry a lot of weight.
