Murphy’s return to lift Barry-Murphy

Good news at last for Cork hurling manager Jimmy Barry-Murphy with the imminent return of Brian Murphy.

The Bride Rovers club man is expected back in the county senior hurling fold next month, according to selector Kieran Kingston.

Kingston said: “He’s back working with [physical trainer] Dave Matthews and we’d expect him back hurling with us on February 1.”
