Jim McGuinness believes implementing the recommendations of the Football Review Committee (FRC) regarding foul play could open a can of worms.

McGuinness wary of card confusion

The FRC last week revealed their proposal, which would entail a player deemed guilty of a deliberate or cynical foul receiving a black card, meaning a compulsory substitution.

However, the Donegal manager insists in the current rule book of Gaelic games the definition of the tackle is still misunderstood so to introduce a black card would merely increase confusion.
