GAA director general Páraic Duffy admits the Football Review Committee (FRC) may examine the yellow card rule.

Stressing it’s strictly a matter for the Eugene McGee-led group, he accepts there is a possibility the idea of making a yellow card adismissal offence is too severe and may have to be amended.

Although Duffy feels Mick O’Dwyer’s criticism of the proposal as “a joke” is over the top, he admits he has doubts whether it would pass at March’s Congress in its present form.
