Kerry boss hasa broken jaw

Kerry boss Eamonn Fitzmaurice suffered a fractured jaw in Finuge’s County IFC final victory over Spa on Sunday.

Fitzmaurice sustained the injury late in a game which ended in a 1-12 to 0-12 victory for the North Kerry club.

A scan yesterday confirmed the former county star had not suffered a dislocation but the injury will rule him out of football for between six to eight weeks.

Finuge are set to face Limerick champions Pallasgreen in a provincial semi-final on Sunday.
