Referee’s report into Clare club brawl sees Daly off the hook

Anthony Daly is set to escapepunishment from the Clare County Board following last Saturday’s county minor A final as it is understood he wasn’t mentioned in the referee’s report.

The Dublin manager, a selector with Clarecastle, is not among those who were cited in match official Jim Hickey’s account of the game in Sixmilebridge.

The referee’s report is currently with Clare’s Bord na nÓg Iomaint and it is no surprise Daly’s name has not featured as he was not among those sent off.
