Lyng believes ‘cunning’ Cody can find a winning formula

“What is often the case in a replay, when a team is in the ascendancy, which Kilkenny are over the last few years, you’d say Galway let their chance slip. They were up a good bit in the first half but allowed Kilkenny back into it.

“They could be accused of not knowing how to win it, which is a skill in itself, and Kilkenny have the experience, from that point of view.

“But there’s a different feel to this one. I don’t think Galway have necessarily left their chance slip. They didn’t fully capitalise but it’s not the case that Kilkenny are going to blow them out of the water this time.
