1.4m viewers tune in for Donegal triumph

Donegal’s All-Ireland SFC final victory over Mayo was a massive ratings winner for RTÉ.

Almost 1.4 million viewers tuned in to the clash making it the second most watched senior football decider in eight years.

An average of 960,500 people watched full coverage of the game including post-match analysis with RTÉ’s panellists Pat Spillane, Joe Brolly and Colm O’Rourke.
