Brolly backs Dubs to tame Donegal in final

Joe Brolly expects Dublin to win tomorrow’s All-Ireland semi-final and give Donegal their greatest battle yet in next month’s final.

The former Derry footballer, a big fan of Jim McGuinness’s side, claims their attacking strategy remains “one dimensional”.

“Dublin, like Donegal, have a ferocious and highly effective defensive system,” wrote Brolly in his Derry Journal column. “Unlike other teams, they will not fall into the trap of being sucked upfield leaving an empty motorway in front of their own goals for Kavanagh and company to sprint into.
