Buckley joins Dr Crokes’ management team

Dr Crokes’ three-in-a-row championship bid received a timely boost this week with the arrival of Donie Buckley, pictured, to help prepare the side for their meeting with East Kerry in a fortnight and for as long as Crokes remain in the championship.

Buckley trained Limerick with Mickey Ned O’Sullivan, and for the past two seasons was involved with Kerry until his surprise departure before the Kingdom played Cork this summer.

Buckley is recognised as one of the top coaches in the country and will be seen as a huge asset to Crokes in their three-in-a-row bid.
