Donegal have come a long way since ’09, says Lacey

Karl Lacey has warned Cork the Donegal team due to face the Munster champions on Sunday week is “miles ahead” of that which suffered the ignominy of a 14-point thrashing when the pair last met in the championship three years ago.

The Ulster side conceded an eye-watering 1-27 that day in 2009 and the margin of victory would have been far greater but for two Donegal goals scored in the darkness of the last quarter when Cork had already begun to turn off the lights.
