Kerry, Kildare, Meath and Down will all start favourites in their fourth round qualifiers against Clare, Sligo, Laois and Tipperary respectively this Saturday and the last three of those ties hold out the prospect of close contests at the very least.

The back door has delivered four unexpected results so far, with Roscommon turning over Armagh before Tipperary, Leitrim and Antrim put paid to the ambitions of Wexford, Wicklow and Galway on the same day in round two.
