Wexford sweat on Nolan and Moore

PJ Nolan and Gary Moore are Wexford’s biggest injury worries ahead of Saturday’s All-Ireland SHC phase 3 qualifier with Cork at Semple Stadium in Thurles.

Wexford sweat on Nolan and Moore

Wing-forward Nolan, who has begun all three of Wexford’s championship games to date, was forced to retire at half-time in their win over Carlow 11 days ago with a hand injury and is a doubt.

Teenage attacker Moore came off the bench in both of the qualifier matches against Westmeath and Carlow, scoring a goal in the latter, and was a key member of the county U21 side which reached the Leinster final. He also has a hand injury, however, sustained in Glynn Barntown’s county senior championship loss to Faythe Harriers last week.
