Cork hurling captain Patrick Horgan has issued a rallying call to his side not to accept any more moral victories.

A one-point defeat to Tipperary in the Munster semi-final means Cork have to take the qualifier route, beginning this Saturday against Offaly at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, and Horgan wants the team to believe they are good enough to make an impact.

“I heard a man on the radio [after the Tipp game] saying, ‘We would’ve taken being beaten by a point before it,’ and I was like, ‘What are you on about?’” he said.
