Bantry forged 1-5 to 0-3 ahead at the beginning of the second half and appeared to be in the driving seat. But Millstreet, with midfielder-cum-centre-forward Michael Vaughan spearheading their attack, refused to give in. Vaughan finished with seven superb points and along with Brian G Murphy, Kevin Crowley and Michael Murphy led the revival.
