Gooch good to go for Crokes

Colm Cooper has been passed fit for Dr Crokes’ Kerry senior club football final against Rathmore in Fitzgerald Stadium on Saturday night.

Concerns were raised after the Kingdom skipper limped off during the first half of the semi-final win over Laune Rangers last Sunday with an ankle injury.

But club officials yesterday downplayed fears he has suffered a recurrence of a problem which troubled him last year and confirmed that the star attacker is indeed available for selection this weekend.
