Offaly County Board have appointed Tom Coffey as senior football interim manager.

Gerry Cooney resigned on Friday following six losses from seven matches and relegation from Division 3.

“Tom was appointed today at a meeting of the Offaly County Board Management Committee in O’Connor Park as the interim manager to replace Gerry Cooney,” a statement from the board read:
