O’Sullivan can still star for Kerry, says Griffin

Tom O’Sullivan is still good enough to play a major role for Kerry in the championship, according to former Kingdom defender Tommy Griffin.

O’Sullivan, 33, has yet to signal his inter-county intentions this season, with opinions divided on whether the five-time All-Ireland winner will retire or play on for a 13th consecutive campaign.

But Griffin feels the Rathmore clubman would make a big difference to the Kerry full-back line, if he decides to return ahead of the Munster championship opener away to Tipperary on May 20.
