Cats ace aiming for top of the class — on and off the field

Eoin Larkin claims it’s a myth inter-county hurling is a game best enjoyed by students and teachers.

The Kilkenny forward has returned to school to complete his Leaving Cert which he didn’t do as a teenager and admits it’s a hectic schedule.

The ex-Hurler-of-the-Year is studying English, Irish, Maths, History and Geography and has just completed his mock examinations. It leaves him with a two-month window before the exams begin for real and he’ll use that period to cram in as much study as possible.
