Limerick await news on Galvin injury

Galvin will undergo a scan and meet a specialist to determine what damage he sustained during the first half of the Enniskillen clash. There are fears Galvin, who tore his cruciate ligament in a challenge game against Down last May, suffered a recurrence of the injury and could be facing another lengthy spell on the sidelines.

“We’ve no news yet so we’re just going to wait and see what the outcome of the scan is,” revealed Limerick boss Maurice Horan. “When John sees the specialist tomorrow, we’ll have a better idea what the story is. We’re hoping he’ll be ok.”
