UCC never in trouble in Seandún stroll

Reigning county football champions UCC opened their defence of the title with a facile victory over Seandún at Páirc Uí Rinn last night.

Always in control, the College won this at their ease, possessing an extra gear or two whenever the city division looked as if they might eat into what was at times a very sizeable lead.

Inspired by Kerry senior panellists Johnny Buckley and Brian Moran at midfield, with another Kingdom star, Peter Crowley, impressive coming forward from wing-back, UCC took charge of proceedings early on and it was a hold that was never relinquished as they advanced to the third round of the divisions and colleges section.
