Determined Armagh push on with abuse claim

The Armagh County Board will cite an incident involving a member of the Laois official party at their meeting with Central Hearings Committee (CHC) tomorrow night.

Ciarán McKeever (two-match ban) and selector Paul Grimley (three-month ban) have requested hearings following their proposed punishments by the Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) from Sunday’s defeat in Portlaoise.

Armagh secretary Paddy Óg Nugent confirmed they will object to the pair’s suggested suspensions and will also raise with the CHC the verbal abuse directed at McKeever at half-time.
