Kildare enjoyed a goal feast as they kept their promotion bid very much on track against a helpless Roscommon side in Athleague.

Goals from Tony Murphy and Paul Divilly gave the visitors a comfortable 2-8 to 0-6 cushion at the interval. The second half was a mismatch as Kildare added three further goals from the sticks of David Harney, substitute Gerry Keegan and Martin Fitzgerald.

Roscommon did grab a consolation score when sub Cillian Egan goaled in injury-time.
