Horgan hails Rebels’ late show

Cork’s top scorer on Sunday, Patrick Horgan, said he and his teammates were happy with their one-point win over Dublin at Croke Park on Sunday, as they’ve been “losing those kinds of games for long enough”.

Cork trailed by four points in the final quarter but rallied to edge out the hosts, with Horgan hitting the match-winner after Conor Lehane won a free.

“I think we showed a good bit of fight, something we haven’t shown in a while,” said Horgan.
