Joyce back in training with Galway

Padraic Joyce has returned to full training with Galway but manager Alan Mulholland reckons he may not be ready to play against Westmeath in Mullingar on Sunday.

The 34-year old, an All-Ireland medal winner in 1998 and 2001, is Galway’s longest serving player and if he does not feature on Sunday he could return against Meath on Sunday week.

Seán Armstrong has also returned to training following a hamstring injury, although Mulholland is not banking on him being ready for Sunday.
