Leinster Council chief executive Michael Delaney has admitted he is aware of managers of underage teams being paid.

The Laois man, who was commenting on the current payments to managers debate, in his report for the Leinster convention, said the issue was a major reason for clubs and counties’ financial suffering.

“Remember, this is not a diminishing problem. Apart from senior teams, I know that some underage county teams also have a payment structure for management.
