TIPPERARY manager Declan Ryan is consulting with his predecessor Liam Sheedy over the use of Premier County players for next Saturday’s glamour senior hurling challenge against a Munster selection.

A number of Tipp players could feature on Sheedy’s star-studded Munster team for the match being held in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland at MacDonagh Park Nenagh (3pm).

2010 All-Ireland winning boss Sheedy and sidekick Eamon O’Shea, who teamed up as manager and coach of the Tipperary seniors from 2008-2010, are in charge of the Munster team preparing for the February 19 clash with Leinster in the M Donnelly interprovincials.
