Mark McGovern is finally back at home in Fermanagh, having almost lost his life playing Gaelic football in America. But the 23-year-old’s tale is not one with a storybook happy ending.

Football was such a big part of my was my life and it was taken away from me. When championship comes around and I can’t play and I can’t train with the Belcoo team, I don’t know what way I’ll be. Maybe then I’ll go outside and scream at the top of my voice.
