Hannon: O’Grady brought buzz back

LIMERICK youngster Declan Hannon doesn’t dally when it comes to paying tribute to departed coach Donal O’Grady.

The Corkman was credited with reviving the Limerick hurlers in his year in charge, and Hannon endorses that view.

“Skills and attitude were a big thing with Donal, we’d do a half an hour of hooking and blocking before training under him, and you’d notice it in the games themselves, the amount of hooks and blocks you’d see lads making,” he said.
