Cork fan Kavanagh set to be honoured

HE’s known around the country not for what he says but what his get-up says about him.

Cyril Kavanagh might look like an extra from a spaghetti western but he’s a fan in a million when it comes to his beloved Cork.

And that loyalty, dedication and splash of outrageous colour will be recognised tomorrow night as he becomes the inaugural Irish Examiner GAA Supporter of the Year at the Bord Gáis-sponsored Munster GAA awards.
