MAYO GAA chiefs will be meeting with James Horan and his management team to reduce the senior side’s running costs.

The county has to come up with a plan to start paying off €10.5 million in loans within the next two weeks and county board chairman Paddy McNicholas accepted no team was secure from the cuts in the county.

“It will be a little pinch from everybody. There are areas of the football pitch which need cutbacks too but we’ll do that with the management teams,” he said.
