Croker says Mayo woes will be solved
The county owes €10.5 million in loans to the Ulster Bank and Croke Park for the redevelopment works carried out at MacHale Park. Until now they have been paying interest-only loans but the bank required payments on the capital loan at the end of October, which went unpaid.
As a result Ulster Bank officials met with Croke Park’s finance department and asked them to instruct the Mayo board to create a financial plan within the next two weeks stating how they will pay off the loan.
