Kingdom retain their title
The boys from the Kingdom managed to just stay ahead from the 20th minute until the finish.
First-half goals from Kealan Ó Dubhlainn and Kevin Bowler set Kerry on their way after a difficult start which saw their opponents take an early lead thanks to a superb goal from midfield dynamo David Condron.
Centre-forward Johnny O’Connor and left full-forward Ó Dubhlainn starred, the duo rattling off 1-11 between them.
The victory now sets up a familiar clash between Cork and Kerry to see who will represent the province in the All Ireland series.
