Brogan and Fennelly scoop top awards

Kilkenny’s Michael Fennelly took home the hurling equivalent following a stellar year at midfield in the Cats’ march to All-Ireland honours last month.

The Young Footballer of the Year went to Mayo corner-forward Cillian O’Connor, who enjoyed a superb league campaign as well as an excellent All-Ireland quarter-final against Cork.
