Tourlestrane book place against Brigid’s

ALL six forwards and two half-backs found the range for Sligo champions Tourlestrane as they booked a Connacht club semi-final against St Brigid’s of Roscommon next month.

The sides were level at 1-5 apiece at the break thanks to a great goal from Tourlestrane’s captain Gary Gaughan and Aaron Hickey for Glencar.

Tourlestrane hit five points in succession with wind advantage in the second-half and while Adrian Croal scrambled home a goal six minutes from the end to give the Leitrim champions some hope, but Tourlestrane pushed on for a deserved success.
