Ladies attract 620,000 viewers

620,000 people tuned into TG4’s coverage of the All-Ireland Ladies Football finals on Sunday — the highest figures in four years.

Cork defeated Monaghan in the senior decider with the intermediate (Cavan v Westmeath) and junior (New York v Wicklow) finishing in draws.

The replays are fixed for Croke Park on Sunday week, October 9, and both will be broadcast by TG4.

The Irish language broadcasters also reported that viewing figures for the championships were up on the 2010 figures.
