SHANE WALSH fired Galway into an All-Ireland MFC semi-final with a top class second-half display against Ulster champions Cavan in the Pearse Park in Longford on Saturday.

Walsh kicked six of his side’s seven points in the second-half after Galway midfielder Sean Moran scored a goal in the 24th minute to bring them back into the game after early Cavan dominance.

Galway boss Tommie Joyce was delighted with his side’s response after their Connacht final collapse to Roscommon.
