Clarke’s future uncertain

JAMES McCARTAN initially refused to be drawn on the future of Martin Clarke, but gave a slight indication the Down forward could yet be returning to Australian Rules football.

“You need Marty sitting here,” said the manager. “I don’t answer questions on his behalf.

“He told me he would be committed to us for two years and he has done that. I’m not going to answer on his behalf. I’m sure you can ask him yourselves.”
