Breffni boys on the up

THE future looks bright for Cavan as their underage revolution gathers pace.

Yesterday they added the Ulster minor crown to their U21 title with a resurgent second-half display at Clones.

It was the Breffni County’s first success at this level since 1974 and only their second in the past 52 years.
