Meehan will start at right corner-forward and is also joined in the team by Diarmuid Blake drafted in at centre-back and Matthew Clancy at left half-forward.
Fintan Ó’Curraoin and Tomas Flynn, who formed a midfield partnership for the All-Ireland winning U21 team in May, get their first championship starts at midfield and right half-forward respectively.
